Outdoor & Experiential Tourism

The Travel2Peloponnese project focuses on the development and promotion of organized outdoor and experiential activities in the Kynouria–Parnon region, with an emphasis on sustainable tourism development, extending the tourism season, and strengthening local economies.

Activities and experiences are sold through our online platform travel2peloponnese.com, directly from our office based in Tyros, and through our network of local and international partners.

Main Activities

* Rock climbing in Leonidio, with experienced instructors

* Hiking routes on Mount Parnon – guided and self-guided experiences

* Parnon Trail – A CHORA NAMOU is responsible for the southern section of the trail, covering more than 100 km between Astros, Tyros, Leonidio and Kosmas

* Mountain biking & e-bike routes

* Sea activities, including kayaking and SUP

* Agrotourism and local gastronomy experiences

* Cultural activities and experiences

* Sports and wellness experiences

Safety & Sustainability

All activities are delivered with qualified and experienced guides and instructors, following established safety protocols and appropriate risk-management procedures. Participants are covered by insurance, where applicable, and all activities are designed with respect for the natural environment and the principles of sustainable and responsible tourism.

An Established Experience Platform

Our platform has been offering and selling experiential tourism packages since 2019, when the project was also presented at ITB Berlin.

Since then, Travel2Peloponnese has continued to develop collaborations with international tourism organizations, global booking platforms and travel agencies, creating new opportunities for visitors to discover the Peloponnese through authentic outdoor and local experiences.

One of the activities currently attracting strong interest and significant demand is our climbing lessons in the climbing fields of Leonidio, one of the region’s most distinctive destinations for climbing and adventure tourism.
